Last Saturday, the college football team with the most wins ever–Michigan–played Nebraska, the team with the fourth-most wins ever. You can tell these teams have traditions because they only need their initials on signs (Photos courtesy the Detroit Free Press).
Much to my surprise Nebraska won this one. Michigan hadn’t lost at home in more than two years, and happily, Nebraska put an end to that streak. The Huskers’ defense is much improved, and they won the game for us.

The Detroit Lions won on Sunday, and so this fan with divided loyalties is probably feeling pretty good this morning:
